Radon Mitigation

What is Radon?

Radon is an odorless, colorless, and tasteless radioactive gas produced by the natural breakdown of uranium found in some rocks, sediments, and water.

Health Risks

Radon moves out of the ground and dilutes to harmless levels in the atmosphere, but can accumulate to high levels in homes. Recent studies have found direct evidence linking radon to lung cancer.

"We know that radon is a carcinogen. Breathing low levels of radon can lead to lung cancer."
- Tom Kelly, Director of EPA's Indoor Environments Division.

Radon Mitigation

Radon can enter a home through openings in basement walls and floors; concentrations in a home can be lowered by sealing these entry points, depressurizing the sediment around home foundations, and improving home ventilation. EnviroTech mitigation specialists will analyze and solve your radon issues through customized solutions and equipment installation if necessary.

Infra-Red Inspections & Treatments

Infra-Red (or Thermal Imaging) is a valuable tool in predictive and preventative maintenance fields. Thermography allows our certified technician to see deep within your walls to identify and analyze problems that may not be evident during visual inspection.

EnviroTech's inspection and sampling process is one of the most thorough and documented systems in the industry. From pest identification to mold remediation, our service professional will get to the root of the issue and create a safe environment for work or living.
